Join us for the 2nd Annual Spooky Sprint run, a spooktacular Halloween 5K and 1-mile race along the picturesque shores and charming neighborhoods of Lake Minnetonka.
Join us in whatever vibe suits you - come as you are or unleash your inner character in a costume.
After crossing the finish line, the excitement continues at Excelsior Commons with a lively after-party to keep the Halloween spirit alive with a DJ, s'mores, fire pits, hot cocoa bar, giveaways, and more. Whether you're a seasoned runner or a leisurely stroller, this event promises a hauntingly good time for all.

4:30 PM: 1 Mile Start
5:00 PM: 5k Wave 1 Start
5:15 PM: 5k Wave 2 Start
6 PM: Post Race Party begins at the finish line with DJ, S'mores, and Hot Chocolate/Apple Cider Bar
6-7 PM: Pet Costume Contest at Excelsior Animal Hospital's Booth
*No furry friends on the race course but are welcome at the after party in the Excelsior Commons!
7:15 PM: Excelsior Animal Hospital Pet Costume Contest Winner Announced
8:00 PM: Post Race Party Ends

*For the safety of all participants and our furry friends, pets are not allowed on the race course. However, we'd love to see your costumed companions at the after party where they're fully welcomed and encouraged to join the fun!
How do I participate?
After you finish the race, stop by the Excelsior Animal Hospital Booth any time between 6pm and 7pm.
Each contest will be photographed and judged based on creativity, originality, and owner/pet coordination.
Must be present to win, winner announced at 7:15 PM and presented with a goodie basket packed with love for your companion!
