Where is Luck O' the Lake?
Luck O’ the Lake takes place in Downtown Excelsior. Packet pickup is held at Excelsior Brewing Company, and the start line is at the corner of 2nd Street and Water Street in front of Lakes Area Realty.
You can view the race maps on the main event page, and we recommend downloading the RunGo app ahead of time if you plan to follow the course with audio directions.
Where can I park?
Parking is available in the West Public Parking Ramp, East Public Parking Lot, and on surrounding neighborhood streets. Parking will be closed on Water Street. Please refer to the Excelsior Parking Map for additional details.

Can I have more race information?
The 1-Mile race begins at 9:05 AM and the 5K race begins at 9:30 AM in Downtown Excelsior. Race routes can be found on the main event page.
Strollers are welcome, but we ask that participants with strollers start toward the back of the pack for safety.
The 5K is a chipped and timed race, and results will be posted on the website following the event.
Are dogs allowed?
Dogs are not allowed on the race course. We encourage participants to leave their furry friends at home. Dogs are also not permitted inside Excelsior Brewing Company.o.
Are strollers allowed?
Yes! Strollers are welcome in the race. We simply ask that participants with strollers start toward the back of the pack for safety. Please also leave strollers outside Excelsior Brewing Company during packet pickup and beer ticket redemption.
Can I walk the 5k?
Absolutely!
What if I register AFTER March 6?
Participants who register after March 6 will not have the option to register online "with shirt". Limited shirts will be for sale at the event.
How many people participate?
We have on average, approximately 900+ joining us and 300+ spectators for the day!
What happens after the race?
Join us for the post-race party starting at 10:00 AM at Excelsior Brewing Company! Celebrate with fellow participants and enjoy the festive atmosphere.
At 11:00 AM, enjoy a special Irish dance performance. Olive’s Fresh Pizza Bar will also be serving pizza by the slice.
The celebration continues into the evening with live music from SWAG at 7:30 PM. Entry is free with your race bib.
Do I need my ID?
IDs are REQUIRED, no matter your age, for any person consuming alcohol. If you are participating in the race, please bring your ID after the race to redeem your drink ticket.
What would I have to pay for?
Any additional beer purchased at the brewery or merch items.
What happens in case of emergency or lost/found?
Lost and Found will be held at Excelsior Brewing Co. and handed over to the South Lake Minnetonka Police Department.
Where are bathrooms located?
Portable restrooms are located around the backside of Excelsior Brewing Company and across from Red Bench Bakery.
