Where is Art on the Lake?
Art on the Lake is held in Downtown Excelsior along Water Street, spanning from 3rd Street to Lake Street near the shores of Lake Minnetonka.
Where do I park?
Parking is available in the West Public Parking Ramp, East Public Parking Lot, and on surrounding neighborhood streets. Parking will be closed on Water Street. Please refer to the Excelsior Parking Map for additional details.
What vendors are there?
Art on the Lake features a curated selection of artist booths across a variety of mediums, along with local business vendors and community organizations. A full vendor list will be shared once the jury process is complete.
How were vendors chosen?
Artists applied and were selected through a jury process, where a panel of four artists evaluated work based on originality, technical skill, overall impression, and presentation. The event also includes sponsor and community booths that support the festival.
Are there food and drinks available?
Yes! There will be food vendors serving a variety of food and drink. Visit the food vendor section on the event map to find your favorites and view the full list. We also encourage you to support the many local restaurants and breweries in Downtown Excelsior during your visit.
What would I have to pay for?
The event is free to attend. You would only pay for items purchased from vendors or food vendors, and paid parking may apply in Downtown Excelsior.
What happens in case of first aid or lost & found?
General first aid and lost & found will be available at the Chamber HQ Tent near Dock Cinema on Water Street. Police will be present throughout the event, and any unclaimed lost items will be turned over to the South Lake Minnetonka Police Department after the event.
Where are bathrooms located?
Portable restrooms are located near Dock Cinema and across from Red Bench Bakery.
