Luck O' the Lake is an exciting St. Paddy's Day event set against the stunning backdrop of Lake Minnetonka in Excelsior, MN. Participants can embrace the Irish spirit as they race along the scenic shores in a 5k and 1-mile run, enjoying the perfect blend of fitness, fun, and a touch of green in this picturesque lakeside celebration. End at Excelsior Brewing Company and enjoy a locally brewed beer and post race snacks while watching the Rince na Griene Irish Dancers.
Winners of the 5k will receive a gift certificate for a new pair of shoes at The Lakes Running Co. and winners of each age group will be sent a prize!
REGISTRATION FOR 1 MILE INCLUDES: Medal, doughnut*, race bib, one drink ticket (soda, beer, seltzer)
REGISTRATION FOR 5K INCLUDES: Race bib, timing services, 2026 race shirt**, one drink ticket (soda, beer, seltzer), doughnut*/post-race snacks
*Doughnuts available while supplies last.
**Option to opt of 2026 race shirt for discounted registration
Please be aware, race shirts are unisex and do run large.
Secure your spot by registering online by March 12. Registration closes at midnight on 3/12. Limited walk-up registrations are available on March 13 & 14 during packet pick-up.
